I have a 1986 Mercury Marquis (foxbody) wagon that I'm putting up for grabs. Don't really need to sell the car but I've been entertaining the idea so I can focus on other aspects of my life. The car is well worth what I'm asking in parts and doesn't need a whole lot to finish it and make one killer sleeper.
The pros are
All aluminum DOHC 4.6 with an Eaton and studs everywhere 10.5:1 compression and 15 psi (runs)
JLT cold air intake
Snow performance water methanol kit (MAF controlled)
Long tube headers/ Flowmasters
UPR k-member, coil overs, and lower control arms
Tokico Blues all the way around
Tubular rear control arms
01 Mustang 8.8 posi
01 GT spindles and PBR brakes up front
TR3650 5-SPEED, new clutch, aftermarket cable and quadrant
05+ 5 spokes
Completely cleaned and painted under the car (on a rotisserie)
High volume fuel pump
The cons are
Wiring needs finished (I can label everything)
I somehow lost one brake line so the brakes need finished
Steering needs finished (may have to modify the drivers side header)
Need to buy the Bosch water pump for the intercooler
Interior needs put back together (have it all and a bunch of extra stuff)
Car is ugly....lol
As stated before I have well over the asking price in just building the engine. I don't need to sell the car but if someone will give me what it is worth then I will do so. I have a clear Oregon title. Not sure if it will go through DEQ when done but it is old enough to qualify for Special Interest plates in terms state of Oregon.
