Default Stock intake manifold and carburetor

I recently replaced my intake manifold and carb with aftermarket pieces. Now I have the stock parts sitting in my garage taking up room and was just wondering if they are worth anything... Also, if they are something people would be interested in, what would be a good price for them? They are off of a 1985 5.0. Thanks!

They're probably worth more in scrap metal. Really though, they're worth whatever people are willing to pay for them and I doubt that's very much. The stuff is not in high demand. I have two of those intakes hanging in my building and Atleast one carb somewhere.

I understand that for some racing classes they have to use the stock carburetor. Other than that they are useless.

Had 2 intakes and one cherry carb and on carb that was parts only. Wound up giving all away to a guy that was a collector restorer in trade for a Ford 3.73 gear. No demand unless your a restoration shop.

I don't have any cash to spend but if I did I'd offer $80+ shipping (maybe more if I knew I wouldn't have to rebuild the carb).

While my offer isn't serious at the moment, my point would be to never scrap factory parts if they are any good. There will always be someone who will want them.

Agreed, the stuff is not scrap. I've seen the carbs and intakes sell for $50, or more, each. But you might have to wait for the right buyer.

Not sure what to ask, and I'd have to check shipping costs to Canada. The intake needs a good cleaning and will include the bolts, the carb worked okay when I pulled it but I'd suggest going through it before running it, I have no clue the last time it was gone through.
