That's right ed. By the way, I love what you did to the coupe. It's really too nice to race now

So after waiting for about a week for my rear bumper foam, I cone home to find an envelope, not a big box on the front step. Apparently this part is no longer made, although you can go into their website and order one. So I guess I get a flimsy saggy bumper. Anyone have advice on this?
Already been pmd by trey about making a mold. He has one, or should I say james has one. We will solve this problem
Tried a couple wheel spacers from Amazon. They are hubcentric, 5 mm thick and high quality
machined aluminum. Exactly what I needed, stopped my rubbing for 12 bucks.
and this is why I never throw anything away. Not even sure where these came from or how long they've been living in my tool box, but cut up into pieces, they made excellent clips to hold my radio face plate in.

finished product... I did feel a little dirty cutting up a non cut up dash hole. I had to have a radio, the voices were getting the better of me
Hey - if you can talk Trey into it, it’s all fine as long as I’m not paying more labor.
Some preemptive thinking here, I've been reading all the engine build threads trying to pin down what I want for my car, but most seem to be carbed.I have a 94 cobra intake to put back on when I'm done. I'd like to use someone's al heads, and be able to get somewhere near 350- 400 crank hp. And even that's up for interpretation. It needs to start and run easily preferably on reg fuel. Anything else I'm up for advice. I guess the main question is does the cobra intake limit hp. goals. This is pretty vague I know but I'm just starting to piece this together in my head. The wife's volvo needs to get out of the garage and putzing down the road before I spend too much time or money on it
wow, what a great story so far, love the write up so far

Radio looks good
getting that SN95 elbow out of there and getting a proper foxbody EGR spacer and 65MM throttle body would wake up what you have right now. Go from choking out around 4400 to pulling past 5200.
The cobra intakes need their lower ported to get enough CFM to feed AL heads and make anything over 350 and I know you’d prefer 400. Tom Moss published a nice thread on his website about doing it.
Typhoon EFI was the direction I went instead of Cobra because they are only around 235 new and flow better untouched than a cobra does ported. They take all Edelbrock gaskets....
Even without AL heads your long Block is capable of 6000+ once the intake flows freely and exhaust is good.
That's a big question navycat. Mostly I took the stripped down 95 harness and laid it ontop of (now keep up here) a donor 80 harness(my 79 was past shot). You will need a couple battery and switched battery connections and grounds, and also I used a relay to get good voltage to the pcm as coil voltage dropped off too much during cranking to be valid for running a pcm. You will need both car wiring diagrams, but it was not as bad as it sounds. Give me a call if you like 5152313447 -shane

If you choose that path, I would be more than happy to help
Ok thanks I found a better "parts car" for $500.00 and my capri is (was) a V8 so im thinking just a few wires. but ill remove the harness going to the EEU and install onto the capri (thats the one I had to splice all those wires together again with another harness) just dont trust my 4 days of soldering lolAttachment 125506

Look at all those brake parts and brackets. Also that exhaust will go right on too.

You need from the ebrake handle back, brackets and guides. And the center brake hose from the body
bracket, you'll need to drill out the rivets. When I got e brake cables from rock auto, I had trouble. Ultimately ended up with 2 right or 2 left cables. Dont remember which. If they have fixed their catalogue you will be fine. Mine were Wagner. Lots of good cheap upgrades there. The rack will make your steering better too(expensive adapter required)
