Paint them black so it's harder to tell that they are ten holes. Might be less noticeable then.

Or go with some polished up 10's and love it.
So I blocked with 180 then 240. It sure came out nice. I'm real happy about how it turned out around the door handle area. Monday I'll flip it and seam seal the inside.
Paint the outer lip the trim color, the center withe the holes an aluminum color or cleaned up and the groove the green color. JMTC
I think the groove painted green would be........wait for it.........g r o o v y~
Man, I've not checked on you in a few weeks and you've been a busy boy! I for one, would love to see a thread on the 409 Imp. I love cool old cars...care less what the badge on them says. I love Buicks and Dodges and even a Chebby or too.

Look over at Stangnet droopie, got one running there on the Impala.
Got the driver's door painted, I'll try to get a picture in the sun in a little bit, it's partly cloudy today
The more you paint, the more you make me really consider Kona Blue for my SVO!
You're NOT HELPING DAVE!
Door looks Great!

Looks soooooo good, I may have to drag my datsun to tulsa with a pile of money.
Thanks guys. Here's a sun picture or two.
I decided to try a paint scheme on my ten hole wheels, at least one of them. I used the trim grey on them. What do y'all think?
like the wheel treatment! tho would like the window pockets in a brighter argent silver (personal preference). Nice blue! I tend to prefer the performance blue over the kona blue tho... again, personal preference.

Thank you for the compliments.
There are several blues that I like right now. Kona just seem closer to the original while adding a little something to it.
I am not a fan at all of black wheels. I like em shiny. It makes me think that somebody doesnt want to keep their wheels clean and the black hides that.
Well they are shiny black.
They look cool and it will be interesting to see them on the car with the the blue paint.
Ok, I think I might do a quasi SSP version with the wheels. Paint the holes the trim color, leave the rim silver and the center caps silver. Here's the picture of the grey before I unmasked to see the grey in them sort of
I'm kind of liking this idea.
I went for the semi-SSP look too and I'm pretty happy with it.
Ditch the 10 holes and get a decent looking set of wheels that are worthy of all your work!
Oh the Blasphemy! A Fox owner who doesn't like the 10 holes! Yep! That's ME!!!
Your version looks better, but I never was a fan of the 10 holes, they just don't do anything for me personally!

See post #650.......
I'm sure Dave will ditch the phone dials ASAP and save his beautiful coupe from the unpopular wheel.
What he is doing with these wheels though could be quite impressive with the way the final product looks. I think it is going to have a nice look with the polished lip, dark center and a little bit of contrasting green in it. Can't wait to see it.
Still beats rollin on 14" steelies though.
