Default Monte Carlo Bar ala Predator?

Does anyone make a similar bar for fox mustangs? I see strut tower bars, but nothing like the monte bar used on the Predators.

Just make a Predator Monte Carlo Bar.

It's a piece of tubing with fabricated bent ends welded to the tubing to mount the bar to the car.

Easy project for you or a friend with minimal fabrications skills and welder.

That bar is more cosmetic than anything being not tied into anything really structural.

Exactly. And that's the answer to the OP's question - you don't see anyone making them because there's no reason to use that rather than a proper strut tower brace.

I have to respectfully disagree! The bar is doing an excellent job of assuring that the engine bay inner fenders are not able to flex inward during high performance driving.

Unfortunately as already stated the bar provides no real improvement to overall chassis strength or rigidity.

Well, they also provide a handy spot for the car show queens to lean their "look at my trophies!" plaques on.

Ok then! I just liked it because it was less intrusive than a strut bar and I though it might tighten up the front end more.

Wonder why they put it there then (the predator designers)

Like most everything else on a Predator Mustang it's a Foxbody "Tribute" (I didn't say copy or replica) to a 65 Shelby GT350 Mustang.

The 65 GT350 had this style Monte Carlo bar so the Foxbody Predator Mustang must have one!

It looks good, and 98% of the people who see the car will have no idea it really does not do much. If you want one, by all means make one up. The Cobra wheels i put on my car do nothing better and made no improvement over the Pony rims i took off, but i did it because I liked it. 'Nuff said.
