Unhappy It saddens me to post this - mfpmax - R.I.P.

mfpmax is a long time member going back to 2002, as of lately he hasn't been active which has happened to a lot of us over time but I would chat daily with him via instant messenger. About 2 weeks ago I would see he was "online" yet no new messages from him when I woke up that day which was highly unusual, he would sleep odd hours for sure and I knew that at 5:30am when I signed on there would be something.
I ended up sending him messages with no replies, then I was worried. This was not like him at all. So a few days ago I wrote over, OK....you are really worrying me now, everything ok?????

I woke up to this message this morning...... I am so sad....... RIP my friend.....sigh...

mfpmax: Capriman86, This is MAX's father. It sadden me to have to give you this news but he is no longer with us. He died in his sleep early in the morning of the 6th of June. He was only 35 years old. His funeral was on the 14th. Please pass this information to other freinds that might know him. I'm leaving his computers on until I know that it's safe to turn them off. Please fell free to reply to this message.

I remember him well from the early days of FEP. Sad situation, way too young.

    Honestly, I don't know....

He lead a pretty private life, I knew nothing about any illnesses, I found his Obit but there is nothing in it except that he passed and the date.

Every day I would wake up to find a couple of new links, messages, etc as he would sleep odd hours but over the past 2 weeks nothing came, no replies to anything I sent, but his little green light was on showing his pc was on and chat on......then I got that message and my heart sank....

I'll miss his messages, I already did....... bummer

    Thanks Jeff and that's okay.

It just seems that I am surrounded by it lately -- one close friend in California gets hit by a train and dies -- another friend (a personal trainer) dies of a heart attack -- another has car trouble on his way to a charity event, gets hit and dies -- and many more.

A month ago, the guy across the street from me collapsed and died. Their neighbor died about a year ago.

Then last night, the friend of a good friend was hit by someone under the influence and died and his friend is still in the hospital. They just finished their high school sophomore year.

I remember that mpfmax was into die-cast cars.

    One more.

35 is just way too young. My nieghbor (and former classmate) died in his sleep at 35 of a heart attack. That is one 3am wake up call by the emergency vehicles that I will never forget. That was 10 years ago next month. Sad....RIP Max.

mfpmax was part of another car community I was part of as well...That's how I found FEP. We stayed in touch via IM after he dropped out of the car groups. I received the same message Saturday morning via IM.

    RIP Jason.

(6:35:38 AM) mfpmax: Thanks HEMI. We are waiting for the results from the autopsy. They said 6 to 8 weeks.

Didn't see this earlier this morning or I would have posted it earlier. Trying to be a good little productive human, so I didn't turn my monitor on at home. Posting now. Don't know if we'll ever find out what happened.

Very true Ken, anything his father would confide in telling "me" wouldn't be posted unless he requested.
After I sent the message to his dad asking for any more info, I even said to myself, does it really matter if I know? Not really, it doesn't bring him back unfortunately.
