Default Stealth Audio & Speakers upgrade

Looking to do a Stealth install in my Predator to preserve the stock head unit. I found the Secretaudio product but I feel I can do better with a mini amp & Bluetooth solution. Anyone done this? Looking for ideas. I'm going to upgrade the stock speakers using stock location (dash & rear). Any known good speaker upgrades? Thanks!

In my PC I use Infinity Kappa 682.11cf 6x8's in the rear and Infinity Reference REF-3022CFX 3.5's in the dash. I did have to cut some of the foam on the back side of the dash to clear the tweeter. They sound GREAT!

Awesome. I'll follow your lead on that! My pad is aftermarket so a little Dremel won't hurt. I assume you cut into the pads grill area? It doesn't have to get dangerously thin does it?

A dremel will tear the crap out of the pad.
    Power is not needed.
Use a light touch removing that foam.
If ya got the shakes..well...just go slower.
I used speaker cloth from another Ford to reinforce the holes.
Plus it keeps debris out of the speaker.
Use glue on a wooden toothpick sparingly so it will not show
    .
Ordered JBL 3.5 speakers direct from Harmon last year. Fast, cheap, direct.
Clear sound. Almost the same specs as the Infinitys mentioned.

Best sound when amped up to 20-35w rms and 90hz+ high pass.
Am using a stock Ford radio.

So do aftermarket pads have the same shell? I didn't realize there was a shell beneath the foam

So what do you guys think of this unit? Its a Bluetooth RX and 4 channel amp all in one. If it gets a Bluetooth pairing signal it interrupts the stock head unit signal, otherwise it sends it through. Pretty simple and only needs ignition switchable power and ground.

OK this is what I've decided on. The only risk it seems is the front speaker tweeter height. Worse case I'll revert back to Pioneer TS-A878's but I'd like to at least try this config so I can tweeter match the system (silk). The revised KS line is supposed to be low profile and the pics do look it. Remarkably, the Kenwood underseat sub fits. I test fitted a box bigger than both that and the amp. So the sub goes under the drivers seat and the amp under the passenger's seat along with the power distribution block. I wanted to use a Rockford Fosgate BPR300X4 because I've used it in the past, but its discontinued. Twice that amp overheated in another car and shut down. Maybe that's why its discontinued. This JL amp is a bit bigger but it will fit.

I'm open to suggestions! The only caveat is that other than the Retro Sound head unit I want a completely invisible install...

In case anyone is interested in following a similar stockish install path I completed this install a few weeks ago. I used all the components above except I ended up using a Clarion FZ105BT to keep the cost down. The whole system ended up around $600 in the end. The sound is excellent. The real star of the show is the little underseat sub. I had to Dremel the top grate off and move the seat slider cable up a half inch using a bolt but it was well worth the effort. People will also say there is sound canceling in the rear but it still sounds great back there. I did end up dremeling the front speaker areas under the dash pad but it was a very simple operation.
