Thread: New 85 LTD LX

    Cool New 85 LTD LX

I just picked up this 85 LTD LX, all original, no rust (it even has the Owners Manual in the glove box). I have a complete 89 Mustang I'm going to use to update the Fuel Injection, 8.8 rear end, and a T5.
I don't plan on changing the outside, but the interior, I want to install an 89 Mustang Dash and console. Other then the hand brake and a few new holes to be drilled on the top of the dash, what else needs to be done to use the 89 dash and console in the LTD?

He did what as you are considering, but in his 1979 Zephyr ES. LTD/Marquis is essentially the same as Fairmont/Zephyr.

Thanks, this is pretty much what I plan on doing. Its not that I don't like the Fairmont Dash, but the parts for the Mustang Dash are so much easier to get, plus it will make the Mass Air Conversion a bit easier, since I would use the Dash Wiring from the 89 Mustang.
