    WARNING: This is going to be a straight up parts "gloat"!

    Just grabbed a set of BBK longtube headers for a 79-93 mustang 5.0, part number 1516 and a BBK H pipe, part number 1510.

    New in the boxes.

    Guy sold his mustang back in around 2007 and these had been hanging around ever since. Pretty much just wanted them gone.

    Right place, right time and just a squeeze of luck.

    Now I have to tell the wife I spent 280 bucks. That's not going to go over quite as well....

    Even if it didn't it would have been worth the hit(not speaking literally) for that deal. Just build the credit back up

    This is easy. Start off looking up prices for this or similar pieces. Then ask if it can be fit into the budget. When she says no, hit her with "How about if I can get them for under $300?"

    Nah, I usually just straight up tell her. She's too savvy for the "look how much I saved" thing to work. She does understand a good deal though and she understands my addictions.

    Well, this just keeps getting better!

    Gent shipped the packages today and it came out much less than expected.

    So now it's a set of chromed bbk long tubes and h pipe (shipped) for 225 CAD!

    I love it!!!!

    That sounds like a helluva good deal! Especially in Canada where stuff like that tends to be a little more expensive.
