    Default My Ford Fairmont Wagon Build

    It's time to take the plunge an build this wagon . I have started by collecting the parts i'm going to use .This build is going to take awhile IT WILL BE SUPER SLOW BUILD. I will be converting it to a manul trans .The engine is going to be a explorer 5.0l an of course 5 lug conversion.

    Thank you Fearnot. an yes ZepherEFI as soon ass i drag it home. The PO is cleaning it out .when i get it home im going to try an see if it will run so maybe i drive it around first before i tear her apart an rebuild her

    Well i got her home I just pushed it down the street . I though a battery in her an checked all fluids an pulled the trigger an she fired up but the trans had no fluid on the stick after it was running . I ended up adding three quarts of trans fluid an now she moves under her own power . I also added some fresh gas since its been since 2009 shes been on the road . One other bonus the original owners manul was still in the glove box !

    Cool car, my buddy has one its the same color, weirdly optioned it has 302, 4 spd factory. I have a 78 stripper myself. All the fairmonts are drying up fast it seems like. good luck with the build.

    thank you whooznxt . Yes they drying up I just got lucky finding this one an that the owner was willing to sell it to me
