On an open forum, make a statement, and you'll get responses. Sorry if my response doesn't align with your outlook.

Good then, I will respond to your statement. No, your responses do not sit well with me. I would be happy to discuss further with you offline instead of this "open forum" as you have espoused. Thank you.

I left the house at 4:30 and just got home, not much time for pics but here goes.
So this was a real once in a lifetime moment for me and my son. Here we are meeting the car for the first time, it has sat since 1996 in this same spot. The owner put plastic down then cardboard to preserve the car, it was covered until a year ago. His first words to me were, "open the door and smell that new car smell" I just cried a little.

Here is her first peek of sunlight in almost 10 years.

Here she is heading to her new home. Mine

Stopped to check on her and snap a shot

Here she is at home, MY HOME

My plans are to change all the fluids including the old gas. The car actually started and drove on the trailer, old gas and all, unbelievable. I want to get her as close to showroom as I can, don't plan on driving it.

Paint is perfect, need advice on how and what to use to wax her back to life. I will start a thread with some more pix, I do have door tags, window sticker, etc.

It needs nothing at all, this car is 100% original, even the wiper blades, they need replaced. I am not crazy about the rear louver. It Craiger brand, I may keep it or look for OEM. Other than a bath, that's all it needs, rubber is still good. I will go over everything, brakes etc and make sure she's all tightened up.

Congrats! So cool when they are all original.

For the record, I always liked the Cragar brand louvres. If you decide to sell them I would possibly be interested.

I think you will like this one.

I never would have put those flaps one and now I like them, so I won't take them off.

I would clay car, then machine polish it with Meguiars 205/white pad, then go to Meguiars #7 with a black pad and finish with a few coats of Meguiars #26 yellow wax. Older, single stage paints love Meguiars #7. Car looks great.
