Shirley Ford in Edmonton is correct so it's a nice pretty local car.

I Googled it but of course there is not a lot of info. Wikipedia says it was owned by the infamous Peter Pocklington (Edmonton Oiler owner who traded Wayne Gretzky to the Kings among other things) at one time. Not a lot other than that. Closed or changed names somewhere in history. Cool metal dealer badge though.

Saw this nice Falcon Futura Convertible yesterday. Looked good and blew past me like no ones business! Tried to catch up for better pics but he walked my truck like a dog.

Any more a four eye falls into this category. I sold some interior parts to a guy on Saturday and heard something thumping coming up the road about the time he was supposed to be there. Imagine my surprise when I walk out to see a white and blue 85 GT sitting in my drive. I told him about this site, hopefully he will join up shortly.
1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

Only the ultra hip Mustang could relegate a car so cool as the 64-65 289 Falcon and Comet! In fact it will probably be my last 1960s era classic car purchase.

I could post pics of cool Falcon / Comets all day long.

    In fact I will

My 55 Willys Jeep wagon. It will be getting "re-restored" again hopefully very soon. It will be stock looking both inside and out except with a 93 5.0 dressed to look like a 64.5 K code engine with a generator. It will be black with gasser blue window tint and steel wheels painted in 7B Dark Shadow Blue with chrome beauty rims and chrome SVO style lug nuts. The interior will be blue ribbed Naugahyde on the seats with a medium gray Naugahyde on the door panels and seat sides. Also a 4 speed with over drive and 3:31 gears in the axles. Power steering, power brakes ( front disc ) to make it more drivable.

The bumpers and front apron are off in these pics. I'm also going to bring it back down so I can fit it in the garage. I'm keeping these wheels but going with a street / shorter side wall vintage Radial TA tire to switch back and forth for fun and cruise-ins etc.
