I met and chatted with the owner of that car yesterday at the Nationals.

Cool. I think I talked to him at Back To The 80s too. I stayed away from Nationals this year because of getting shafted out of reserving a parking spot. And my stupid mystery antifreeze puddle.

At cars and coffee a guy had this today. It is an S-10 body, shortened. Dude installed an old slant-6 Dodge motor and it has forced induction! Big points for originality! The work was impressive! Electric power steering from a Kia running a Dodge Intrepid rack and pinion.

I'll bet that's a 2-door Blazer chassis with the pick-up cab and shortened box on it.

Not sure. He has done a HUGE amount of fabrication. Quite original I think. And I bet it's respectably quick!

    Default 60's Corvair 2d HT

Shared the road with a later 60's non show two tone Corvair yesterday.
Looked like it had a lower white spray paint job. Body was a bit rough but not rusted.
Driver with a funny hat looked like she kept her first new car from back then.
Talking on the cellphone like a teen. Was keeping up with traffic.
All the lights worked, Quiet, no exhaust smoke. Gave impression was maintained mechanically.
Could not get close enough to see an engine badge on the rear engine lid.
