Definitely! It is powered by a 289 Studebaker V8 (not a Ford 289). It makes somewhere around 220 hp. It was quite a rocket back in its day. Some of these cars were supercharged. Cars like the 57-58 Golden Hawks, 63-64 Avantis, 62-64 GT Hawks and 63-64 Lark types came with the option for supercharged 289s. Some made well over 300 hp.

Very cool... I like that it isn't all prissy
My pal Bob Drury's "World's Fastest N/A Studebaker":

All driven no trailers.
Anniversary ed.
Straight 6 manual colume shift, restored.
I think I'd ditch those Ralley wheels for some nicely painted OEM steelies and dog-dish hubcaps. Maybe paint the Ralleys to match the truck, then go with dome-style center caps, and leave the trim rings off. Either that, or Crager SS wheels... That's a really nice old truck.
I also like the Cyclone, and is that a Starliner convertible? 1960? Nice car!
Edit: And those second-gen Corvairs are actually rather good-looking cars!

I will see those guys again in August at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Will find out more on the black car.
The Cyclone is actually a 4 speed 68 Fairlane 500, total restore and then some.
A few items were added. Scoop, spoiler. Been in the family since new i think. 70's for sure.
Pretty as it is, every time it was started, the side facing PS tailpipe blew clouds of dead grass onto the whole car.
That car has to be watched the whole time its parked. Its the show quality paint job.
People have set their paws on the fenders inspecting the engine like its no big deal but it is.
The truck has a Chevy straight six, black painted block, weber progressive, header
The engine is so long, no room for a pulley type fan.
Just noticed the gas filler is on the pass side.

Most classic owners just sit now and don't cruise.
The cars are around, but static displayed.
For the most part missed except when on the roll, show to home.
Just another example of a car you don't see every day.
The Fairlane is driven to local car shows and cruises.
50 miles is not out of the question.
Park and watch like a hawk. Not much cruising done with it.
The underside is detailed so keeping it clean is desired.
In the pic, that is the owner's family home from generations back, still in the family.
Parking on the grass would be hard due to curbs.
Party is timed with the annual East Detroit (EastPoint) Gratiot Ave. cruise a couple blocks from the house.
BBQ and everything. The kids have their own cool kid play area in back where they hang out.
Family and friends drop in all day long.
Semi urban traffic. Light and respectfully slow down when the cars are parked on both sides.
my son drove this demo home from the dealership he works for. I told him "don't get that ****box too close to my 85. It is a 2016 McLaren.
"is that a Starliner convertible? 1960?"
Pretty sure its a '60 Sunliner.
Starliner= hardtop.

The retractable hardtop/convertible was the Skyliner.

Excellent! An Olds Cutlass Ralley 350! I rode in one of these back in the '80s.

Wish I'd have been able to take a pic of a car I saw Saturday evening on I-480 near Cleveland. Was riding westbound on my Roadie and noticed some unfamiliar taillights, turned out to be a JDM Nissan Skyline GTR of late '80s/early '90s vintage. Right hand drive, too! Like this one, only black:
1985 Mercury Marquis LTS... "The Unicorn"
1978 Fairmont... 306 and a C4.
Wow, I think I saw that same Skyline at Marathon station on St Clair!!! I was like, whoa, that's a right hand drive? That's a Skyline?? Cool car man! the dude was cool too... he just said, thanks!
Btw, the one I saw was a nice driver, not all riced out.
Factory window sticker says 427/425hp, 3.73 posi, and more.. loaded. 1939.50 options 5566.80 total.
