Nice GT rims and hub caps on the Falcon Squire.
I wonder if there is any GT under the hood?

Sorry about the pic quality. It is a pic of a pic.
My '65 Ranchero. 289 2bbl that only got 8 mpg.
I could pull a house off a foundation with the gears that were in it.

I fixed and painted my brother in laws 79 cruisin' wagon 2 years ago for him. Then he took it to Carlisle and got a celebrity pick award and third place.

I need to get a Pinto (or a Bobcat) back in my little stable.
Either a unique one (Cruisin' Wagon) or just a sweet little Time Capsule.

Yep that one is even the same color combo as my brother in laws. He didn't want all the stripes back on it though. He said he was tired of looking at them. His is a 79 and he bought it used in 80, so he has had it a while.
Now it is all white with some black.

I have a neighbor that uses a boot as an anti-theft device on his classic car when parked in his drive.

Very nice. I had a 78 CW that was a basket case when I got it. Just needed paint when I sold it. Sold it after I bought the Saleen to make the wife happy. I still have my dads 79 window wagon that he bought new.

My Buddies new ride. He gave $2,000. Not sure if it's good or bad but he didn't even think twice, he just paid it.

Love it! Reminds me a bit of the two '67's ('67 Fairlane front ends, beautiful, one 289 and the other a 390) I was looking at prior to snatching the '66 Fairlane sedan I had. If you've still got it, with some doing, something nearer to 30mpg is totally do-able.

Ahhh, that vast Catalina 2+2, some were a factory tri power 421 that did 13.7's without anything but some Royal Oak / shifty Doctor tuning.

Another C&D article put it up against a 330 Faz, where it did 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and a 13.8 1/4 mile.

How about a factory Ford Falcon Sprint with a dealer installed Tri Power fror NZ $100,000, 25 k more than a pristine Blue 1970 Boss 302 imported about the same time.

    The car looked simply stunning.

This one needed it's carburetor rebuilt and some adjustments, and a tune-up. Amazingly, it's a real time capsule with only 45,000 miles on it. She's now running a tune. I had a '74 Pontiac Luxury LeMans, but light blue and a two door, so I found this cool to work with and it's definitely not something seen often on the street nowadays.

    Nice, this is mine:

Owned about 18 years now. 5.0 EFI/AOD, it gets a bit better than 8 mpg.

Oh man that is soooo nice!
i don't know the rear gears were in mine but it had a close ratio Borg Warner 4 speed. On a level surface I could pull out in 4th gear!
I had to dell mine when we bought a house and I needed a real truck to haul firewood and everything else that comes with owning a house. That was about 22 years ago before tv auctions drove old car prices into the stratosphere.
