Pending build-1983 Mercury Capri RS NOT staying as it left the showroom floor......
Sonic blue pearl, sand beige, netted halos, FR500 wheels and shiny under the hood.
I tried again, this is really hard.
Each car is worthy for different reasons!!
Ok..... a second attempt and SUCCESS. With these nominees to vote for? I'm seeing MANY hours worked on these to get them where they are now, it was a royal pain to figure out who gets the one vote. FINALLY figured it out and voted. Best of luck, Gents.

Wow quite the horse race coming down the back stretch!
Well, with my propensity for odd cars you can guess which one I voted for .
1985 Mercury Marquis LTS... "The Unicorn"
1978 Fairmont... 306 and a C4.
Just wanted to say thanks for the nomination. I'm not on here much but I just added an album to my profile. Good luck to all the nominees.
74 votes to date!
4% separates the top 4 cars!
This must be verging on record territory??
The engine compartment shot from danco86's GT alone is worthy of a win, not that the other cars here aren't also nice. That is just sanitary and one of the reasons I nominated it!
1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.
2004 GT convertible, 2001 Taurus LX, 1994 F150, 1950 F-1 Ford Pickup
Every car in this field is a winner in its own way.
Even 83GT351w is how I remember them! An honest 80s hot rod.
Wish mine looked as good as any of the ones nominated.
