    Any idea if this setup would work on 78 Fairmont that has a 302/AOD swapped in it?
    '86 GT - weekend driver

    I would think they were all the same??

    If it helps or matters, our '79 C3 equipped coupe does not have a cable, it has a linkage connecting it.

    My thought is it should work but I suppose the location of the connection to the tranny could change for various types which may affect the routing of the cable??

    this will only work with the 3 spd automatic c4-c5 trans

    I was told the car had a 5.0 with AOD in it. Not possible?
