Default What did you do to your four eye today? 2016

January - I drove the SVO to work yesterday afternoon and this AM. We had bucket loads of rain on Sunday, so the roads were nice and clean. Also took advantage of the weather / roads and topped off the tank, price was right

And, yes it's cold, check out the ice forming on the hillsides on the way home....

Unfortunately there is some white stuff in the forecast soon - so it's back in hibernation.

I finally managed to get my ducks in a row and Big Red indoors out from under the carport. Back to work, finally!

Continuing on with removing the rear end. It's been so dang cold here, it's hard to get motivated to lay on cold concrete after being in it all day. Some rear suspension and brake parts are supposed to be showing up today.

I recently replaced my ebrake rubber booty that keeps outside air from entering the inside of the car. Found $1.16 in old loose dirty change in the process.

Just gonna throw this out there, Brock has been removing that rear end for a few weeks now. Be better off, if I flew out there and dropped it in 20 minutes. He's all like IT'S COLD!

Well not 2016, but finished at the end of the year though. Installed the New Rack, Rebuild the Steering Shaft/ Rag-joint, Fixed Sticking Brake caliper on Front Passenger side, Set the Toe in with poor Mans method, Put some New Tires on the Front. After that She was put back in storage until it warms up some. I still need to tackle the Heater core, and fill the C4 with fluid since the car was tilted a while and it looked like a Red Lake under my car. All cleaned up now and waiting for warmer Weather.

Ticked the odometer over 328k miles. She might be getting a bit tired. I'll bet a compression check would come back with lol instead of a psi reading.

This past weekend, I had a new cooling system installed consisting of SVE radiator, new hoses, 185 degree thermostat and had MM subframe connectors welded in.

Only a 8 beer job. Well done. I just found out my 8.8" needs rebuilding. Kinda sucks. But at least it was caught before I started driving it and wondering "WTH is that howling sound?"

I ordered this today. Posi Trac needs rebuilding. So I figured why not install the carbon fiber disc that was used in the 03/04 Cobras. Name: image.jpg

I believe you may have a problem with that rebuild kit, specifically, the 03-04 Cobras came with 31 spline axles whereas the Foxes have 28 spline, unless you changed yours to 31 spline.
