Cause if you need an armored car, it's clearly not safe to be out in the daylight.

When I read this ad, I noticed two things:
    1. He writes that he has a title, but the VIN doesn't match
    , and
    2. I know few people who use the word "nor" -- other than myself.

Got it all rebuilt and took it for a spin and someone ran into the front fender? Sorry bud but I'm positive you lost control and slammed hard into something. Not buying your story or your smashed car for that ridiculous price.

I'd be cautious of rust. Many cars look good on the topside but rust has taken over underneath.

$1500-2000 is about right for 944 automatic that needs work to run.

The car is probably worth $3000-4000 in good condition.

Is it a bad purchase? I'd say yes, mainly because it is automatic. That really kills the desirability for most Porsche fans. Also, the parts for Porsche 944 are crazy expensive. The bits and bobs will put you in the poor house.

That's good information, guys -- and I appreciate it. I asked the same question at a FB group -- and got the same responses.

Oh well -- maybe an '80s Corvette would be a better purchase for me.

I have 2 cast iron exhaust manifolds off of an 84 lincoln 302 engine in excellent low mileage condition. These would work great on that hot rod project where clearance is an issue.

1965 Ford Thunderbird for sale, red with black interior and white top. 390 V8 with factory AC that mechanically works (Compressor engages, but doesn't blow cold. Might just need charged). Odometer says 24k, but is more likely 124k. Convertible top goes up and down and also has upgraded override relays for the top mounted in the trunk. Replaced starter, battery, battery cables, alternator, water pump, hi pressure power steering line, all belts, thermostat, intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, temp sending unit, retuned the carburetor, adjusted engine timing and completely tuned up ignition system (coil, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, condenser, points). Front wheel bearings (inner and outer), seals, tires (Cooper white walls) and front brake pads are also brand new. Car starts right up and idles perfectly. I also installed an external transmission cooler, flushed the trans with new Type F fluid and installed a Lokar cable kit for throttle and trans kick down. The car goes, stops and rides exactly as it should and would make an excellent weekend cruiser.

    Looking for $13,000.
