    Default H2 Bulbs

Hey guys going to need some new bulbs for my fog lights. Has anybody used the 100w over the 55w bulbs with out any problems?

55W is already hot enough. You'll have a fire with 100W.

You can do the 100W but you'll need to upgrade the wiring. The better solution is to get all 55w out of the stock system.

Personally, I would stick with 55W. Less chance of extra wattage creating any issues.

I am curious for two reasons...
    1. was the mod done using the original housings/glass or were those assemblies replaced by aftermarket assemblies?
    2. if the original housings were used, is the light output actually useful for driving in low visibility situations, i.e. light directed low and to the right shoulder?

Wow! Looks good Skip! I like it. I have 2 sets of Marchals and one of them are not in the best of condition so that set would be a good candidate to try that mod with.

    I like it.

What is the total draw of the two assemblies? Do they project low and to the right?

As far as what they draw I have not checked and would bet it's minimum. As for the lighting a would say it's a "soft" lighting in front of car just filling in where headlights do not...but perfect for the winter/heavy snow as that is what I noticed on my drive home that night. Distance and projection could proubly be improved with using a differant reflector to start with...something smooth for the OEM lens as I think the combo of the diamond reflector and patterned lens contridict each other for projection of light. Going to try and find some differant setups with smooth reflectors and see what happens. But quite happy with how these work for winter or blowing snow for now.
