    Default Need info for 1986 LX emblem placement...

    Just bought an original 86 coupe... Want to replace the emblems that are missing on the car. Are the two I attached the proper emblems?

    Does "LX" go before the "MUSTANG" on the left side.

    If anybody had a photographic example, I'd appreciate it...

    Looks like the "LX" goes after.the "Mustang" emblem...

    The '86 LX convertible I used to have had the LX after the Mustang. And yes, those are the correct emblems for the trunk lid.

    You should have the Ford blue oval on the other side of the trunk. I think mine are too far over, but they are in the right order. I am a stickler for details.

    It should look something like this when you are done. I had to place them a while back on my 86.
