    Question Grease pen number on Radiator shroud

    Found these numbers on the radiator shroud and wondered what they mean. According to the marti report the release date of the car was 01/06/86 and the sold date was 03/08/86. Just wondered if these are factory #s or maybe the dealer prep date.

    I posted a pic of similar markings on my 86. I was gonna add a pic from a book I have that mentioned it as a build date and unit number but I wasn't sure if that would be a copyright violation or something. I haven't gotten a Marti report on mine so I don't have any dates to compare it to.

    I would think these markings were done by the tech that performed the PDI when car was prepped at the selling dealer.
    Date of PDI and tech number...
