Everything has come out of my '90 Mustang. FRP "B" springs, SN95 spindles/disks/lower A arms, one coil cut, GT sway bar; 7.5" rear with SN95 disks, GT sway bar.

Engine has Boport stage 1 head with 2.1 cam. Fresh '86 SVO T-5 (3.50:1 1st gear).

Nice work. Looks like you have the interior back in? I see seats at least.

Are the dash hulls interchangeable between mustangs and F/Z's?

Hmm, well. My attention span is short so I tend to jump from one incomplete job to another while building a car. There's a lot more completed than presented here tonight, which was made to look coherent.

    More coming soon.

Dashes, yes. SN95 dashes even (I've READ not done).

    Foxbody dashes interchange - yes
SN95 do not without some massaging. The radius of the bottom of the windshield is different. You need to cut the SN95 to the radius of the Foxbody but it can be done. We've done it on our 79 Futura. We'll move the door handles down similar to 79 Mustangs.

The interior was factory white, it will be red. Posted in the "What did you do to your four eye today? 2015" thread, 06-08-2015:

That's gonna be sweet! Bummer about the interior though. Some of that F/Z only stuff might be hard to track down.

The original intent was to use the aero dash out of the '90 Mustang, but when I was able to grab an '86 SVO instrument cluster for a very reasonable price, it needed to be in Big Red.

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, I did a little playing around:

    Name: Dash 02.jpg

Since the '90 dash was red & black:

Size: 130.6 KB

    Name: Dash 03.jpg

The current plan is to go all red with the wood grain which matches the original in BR.

    Insulation is needed. Started here:

And a quick mock up with an '89 Mustang tilt column:

I was able to find a "Fairmont parting out" on C/L about 75 miles away that had everything I needed.

The door card is somewhat shabby and I cleverly broke the fragile driver's side A-pillar trim. (WTB ad upcoming.)

It did have a rear "defogger" which I thought was cool enough to install in Big Red.

Mustang carpet and seats installed. I recovered the seats (and recushioned the driver's side) two years ago, so they're good to go.

Picked up the rear (leather) seat from an 88 'bird, because I like the fold-down armrest. I'll dye it to match for the moment and later replace the center (lighter gray) with the proper pleated clothe material.

Nice! Those front seats look to be in uncharacteristically good shape too!

    'salright!

I also heavily re-welded the broken wimpy factory welds on the seat frame and re-enforced the others.

The part I like best about your car is what's under the hood. Good on you for not following the norm, and dropping in yet another 5.0 in a fox. As light as one of these cars are, I'll bet it makes for a fun ride.
Whadya gonna do about the 50 billion holes down the side where the original aluminum trim used to run?
