Default summit racing carb and intake?

so i have been in the market for a carb and intake to put on my 85 gt. i was looking on summits website and saw that they had a carb intake kit . the price was a little low so i am just wondering if anyone has ran this set up or knows someone who has? is it worth it? i am probably going with a air gap rpm intake and a edelbrok 600 carb

I'd prefer a used Edelbrock or Weiend for the same amount or less cash, but you never know, the Summit piece might work just as well.

I'm thinking a used manifold will leave you more money for a better carb, although the Edelbrock is probably pretty decent.
