84-86 are the same & 87-90 & 91-93 are different because of the switch to 16" wheels..

The later fender extensions won't match the wheel opening on your stock fenders. Since the later cars had larger wheel wells their fender extensions will be shorter to match their fenders.

I've seen 87 up extensions on a four eye. They don't fit the front cover right at all.

79-90 fenders are the same.....91-93 are larger. I just bought a new fender for the 85 and it's the same one I bought for my 88.

The later fender extensions have a different body curvature design that don't match the earlier front cover body curvature. They're close but not exact. Doesn't matter if you use the 87-90 or 91-93 fender extensions since the curvature design is different on both. However, if you use an 86 extension on a 91-93 fender, the extension must be modified by cutting a piece out to fit the shorter 91-93 extension area (at least one thread on that mod on this forum). Or if using the later extensions with the 86 front cover, you must modify the extension body curvature design to fit the earlier bumper cover.
