Default Question on the 2015 Fall Foliage cruise

Will the 2015 Fall Foliage cruise be the second Sunday of October? I know this is 3 months away but I have to schedule around leaving for a trade show the same day.

We usually did it then because I always had to work the first Sunday in October and we usually met up at my house. But this year I know I'm not working. Even though I no longer own a 4 eye I would like to be a part of the cruise. But I don't know if I'll be able to organize it this year. I have a lot going on and plan on putting my home on the market soon. So a lot's up in the air for me currently.

Is this going on this year? I was just wondering if so, if it was the first or second Saturday in October? Either would work for me.

My vote is for the second weekend, which is Columbus Day weekend. I have Monday October 12 off - one of our furlough days at work - and I've scheduled vacation for Friday, the 9th, for a long weekend.

If it is on a Saturday, I could do either weekend, but probably won't make it on a Sunday.

My schedule is still pretty crazy so I have no idea if I'll be able to be a part of this or not this year. I would like to as I haven't done anything car-related this year at all but too much is up in the air. Between house projects getting ready to list the place and helping my friend's restoration shop meet deadlines I have been out straight every weekend. And no sign of it letting up anytime soon.

You're absolutely right Will. I would love to be part of the cruise but we need to come up with a gathering point that works for everyone. My house was very convenient for you and I of course but maybe not for everyone else. And it's off the table this year as it will be for sale by then (hopefully) and who knows what will be going on with it. Although I like the route we've taken the past few years maybe we could try something different too.

How about meeting at the Miss Wakefield diner? A couple of years ago we met at the Tilton Diner on a Sunday morning and the place was mobbed

That could work. It's usually fairly busy mornings but the Tilton diner was absolutely ridiculous.

I made my motel reservations and I'm heading to New Hampshire on Friday, the 9th, cruise or no cruise. If we're going to cruise, I can go either day, Saturday or Sunday. I'm staying in Loudon, a few miles south of the New Hampshire Speedway on Route 106, on Friday night and in Laconia on Saturday night. Let's start planning, it's only 2 weeks away.

Even if a cruise doesn't happen, we could at least do a meet up. Possibly.

Sunday might work for me. Still lots of stuff up in the air for me though. I have about a half dozen things I should be doing instead but of course I would rather go on a cruise with you guys. Have to wait and see what happens with my friend's FJ40 I have on ebay right now too. If it sells hopefully they won't want to pick it up next weekend...

well in 30 hours out of surgery for a total right hip replacement. I would have loved to rip a few more time but this year is probably out. If you guys do end up meeting for a rip take a few pictures. Get out and enjoy the weather that NE has to offer.

It looks like the Foliage Tour has kind of fizzled out for this year. I'm on my way to New Hampshire in few minutes with my daily driver, the oh-so-vile Olds-mo-bile. I've been having problems - minor ones but still problems - with the Futura and I don't want Act III of The Curse of the New Hampshire Border.
