Hi guys, please point me in the right direction (like if i was a 4 year old) on finding the correct kit of clutch cable and quadrant for my 1986 svo.
i have looked in e bay and latemodelresto and some how i dont find the correct replacement for my car..
would it be much if you send me the link with the correct one?

Most fox suppliers dont bother with SVO stuff. but your local parts supplier should have what you are looking for. there are two clutch cables: the main long one to the pivot, and then a small 2" piece (aka "Dogbone" ) that hooks to the clutch fork. both replacements are made by pioneer, and if i recall, some slight modification might be needed to get the cable to fit in the clevis.

Also to add, the stock plastic quadrant should be the same, but if you want, the aftermarket quadrants/ firewall adjusters are compatible.

Default Dogbone-less bellhousing for '86 SVO

Does anyone know which specific 2.3L bellhousing would replace an '86 SVO bellhousing, including the nuisance "dogbone", and function properly:
I've already replaced the quadrant and have a firewall adjuster. Bellhousing PN?

    Thank you.

You need one for an RAD four speed transmission. A T5 directly bolts up. I don't have a part number for you but they're fairly common in 79 2.3 Mustangs.
1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

D9ZC 6394 EA is the part number on my 2.3 RAD bellhousing that came out of my PC. My plan is to use it on my SVO once I get started on it. I would upload a picture of the bellhousing, but my iPhone doesn't want to play nice right now!

I have both, but will have to get them together to take a picture. Might be able to do that tomorrow.

    Thanks!

No rush, never knew there was a different bellhousing.

Your signature says 1984 SVO Restoration in Progress. I spend part of my time 'refreshing' my 84 SVO.
