Really sad to see that in a boneyard. The Windstar, on the other hand, not so much...

Since it's at Pick-N-Pull if someone can get to it there's a good chance the car can be bought with a salvage title

You gotta save this one. Think it was just an owner that loves Mark Martin or was it some kind of promo car? Either way it would be cool to save (or if you can't save it, it looks like a parts gold mine)
    Cheers!

That's worth saving for sure. Very cool racer. Wonder if any race stuff is on it?

Is that Velcro in the headlight recess to hold a headlight cover on?

Mark Martin didn't drive the #6 Valvoline car until 1992. In 1995 and I believe 1996, Tommy Riggins drove the #41 Dingman Bros Pontiac Trans Am in the Trans Am series with Valvoline sponsorship.

My guess would be that someone did their own Valvoline graphics either as a huge Valvoline fan or Mark Martin fan. It's also possible it was a promotional car for the local Valvoline Oil Change place, but doubt it was a Valvoline Corporate deal.

Either way, cool car and looks too good to be in a Pick N Pull IMHO.

Cool find, it does appear to be complete. It sure would be cool to see someone rescue it.
