      Default New project 85 mustang gt 5.0 five speed

      Her is my new project let me know what you guys think. Just got the motor out gonna freshen it up with new b303 cam ford 1.7 rockers trick flow upgraded springs full Msd ignition with box coil wires and dizzy. Should be a fun toy.

      Yeah, that is kinda ricerish.
      You might be able to still get that color in a rattle-can. Filler door is small enough that it's easier to get an acceptable result.

      Yea not a big fan of the tinted Lx tail lights either they will also be changed out

      Were those taillights painted or bought tinted? If it's paint, maybe you can just remove it? If not, I would look for a new set and a new fuel door (or paint your current one). Those two things detract from the cars good looks. Stupid kids.

      Otherwise it's a great looking ride!

      They were on the car when I got it I think they are painted. I'm gonna try and remove it because the lenses are in perfect shape. Thanks it's coming along I'll have the motor back from the machine shop probably tomorrow.

      This car came from Elizabeth wv then went to Athens Ohio and now back to Parkersburg wv for its forever home lol.....yea always wanted a 85 gt this one is complete minus the missing drivers door panel.
