Darran, do you have a link to or photo of this 73-79 parts book? I think I may want to have that book in my collection.

I bought the CD while ago, no book Craig. This isn't the vendor I bought from but it looks the same.

I'd like to see what's available for 1980+ but haven't seen anything (not that I've looked hard).

Thanks, Darran. I'll take a look at that link. If I see anything for the 1980+ stuff, I'll holler.

Darran, doing a quick eBay search produced these results:

    1980+ Stuff

Kind of a mixed bag, but eBay's search function isn't the greatest on the planet. Hope that helped.

I only had two of the smaller, narrower retainers and decided to use those for the front of the door moldings. I modified the standard pieces by narrowing them for the quarter molding trim. I removed them the other day from the front pieces and that is what it looks like they did to get them in there. I even got creative and used a 3/8" socket and punched out some gaskets out of some 1/8" two sided tape for that extra level of water resistance!

Our car never had the ZF screw/nut type fastener on the front or back. My thought after installing mine today without the ZF is that there is more than enough friction on the clips in the molding that it would take an extreme amount of wind, vibration, abuse or a combination of those for the moldings to ever come off!
