Thanks guys. I'm not sure how it's going to get done in the time frame we need it to be, but if there's a will there's a way. We put in a couple really long days this weekend so the paint is almost done. Go figure that I, flying solo, got 2 main coats of paint done in the front room, dining room, kitchen, entrance/stairway and main hallway all in the time that it took mama, the boys and the oldest boys girlfriend to get 2 bedrooms painted. I'm a man on a mission.

I hate painting cause it is never good enough...even when I'm doing it. I got told to leave the kids rooms because I instantly started pointing out errors. Mama told me to get out and quit being so anal. I obliged to keep the peace.

I have to finish the edging of the paint, but all in all I think it came out well enough to ease the overly anal side of myself. Plan is to get that done today so we can move on to the next adventure......flooring!

The carpet in the bedrooms will probably be hired out as I have never done that before. It's not that I don't believe I can do it, it's just I'm not sure if I can get it to look good and wrinkle free the first time on such a short time frame. For the rest of the house, we have decided to do laminate or wood flooring. I have not done that before either but I will take a stab at that as I'm confident I can make it look good in a short time. I have laid the vinyl equivalent in the basement of our old house and it came out great, according to everyone who has seen it, so it can't be that much different.

    Measure once, cut 6 pieces......

Maybe if I can get mama happy and us settled in quickly, she will be more apt to let me have some peaceful garage time before the summer is gone.

came back from vacation and there was a new $15,000 asphalt driveway waiting for me. The old one made it 29 years
and 30 yards of mulch next to it, waiting to get spread

Default Did try it at home

Drove spiders and ants out sonically by playing the last part of Patti Smith's 'Live in Detroit' Concert, 12/12/76.
Was one of those concert nights ya walked out pretty much deaf.
Started at 1:20:00 mark, found on YouTube. Cover song, 'My Generation'.
Audio feed (no video), from the pc to the home stereo, volume cranked up to concert level.
Two minutes of sustained instrument (guitar) feedback, MC5 style, that ended the song.
The larger the home stereo system, the better.....

Installed 3 of my 4 cameras for my surveillance system, hopefully finish up tomorrow. Have had a couple of people scoping the property. Dogs for the house, cameras for the yard.
