Default 79 Coupe tag and bill of sale

I figured I'd share these here for anyone who might be interested. Among the items that came with my coupe when i got it was the original bill of sale from September 1979. As you can see, the list of options is pretty limited and given the late in the model year sale, I'd say this little car spent a bit of time languishing on the dealers lot before it sold. Curiously, I did a quick 411 search for the original purchaser, and the address and phone number come up as still current. I haven't tried to contact him at all, and out of respect have blocked out the info on the documents.

I also have the warranty tag and a buck tag from the car as well as what I think were tags off the seats, but I'm not completely sure as they were just loose in among the bags of fasteners from when i tore the car apart.

Not sure if anyone wants to decode this for the records, but please feel free to add it.

Re: a recent thread in the Restoration section.... is this dealership still in business? In the same location, perchance?

Finally dug the doors out of the attic, so here is the door tag for interest sake. Also have the Marti report for it too.

Default 79 Coupe tag and bill of sale

Funny how "Maclin Ford" here is "Maclin Motors" on the report. I suppose that could be the registered business name. Also they have the address as "Macleon" Trail, not "Macleod" Trail.
I think I have heard that Marti will make corrections for you for errors but with these kinds of seemingly simple (the address) mistakes do you start to question the rest?
Your car has about the same length of list of options as the Tangerine coupe of ours but a different variety! Both pretty plain for regardless.
    Thanks for sharing!

Dealer info is separate from everything else on the report. Kevin actually had to find the dealer info on his own at Ford. The dealer name may have changed but the street name is likely not correct.

The dealer has been around for a very long time here in Calgary, They opened originally in 1917. I've always known it as Maclin Ford, but a quick search found that it was originally Maclin Motors and is the oldest Ford dealer in Calgary and second in Canada. The street address shown is correct except for the misspelling of Macleod. The dealer moved from that location quite a few years ago, but is still in business.
