    For A/x and open track the stock door pull is too low and doesn't provide enough leverage for the passenger. Hence, the placement of the grab bar at the a-piller or above the window.

    I've never seen an SVO with a handle. I had a one owner 86 in my driveway for a while (belonged to a friend) and I rode in a one owner 86 at an autocross this weekend and neither one off them had handles.
    1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

    Just found out in another thread that sunroof SVOs don't have them so that explains it.

    I have done many laps instructing from the right seat and that's better than using hand holds especially if the car doesn't have any.
    I usually let her do what she wants! Also if there something for her to hold on too the odds are there is less of a chance I will get a whack for being a smart a$$!
