Default Doors: What years are exactly the same?

I need some door experts. I have an '82 and would like to replace one door. I want everything (door panel/arm rests/window crank) to snap and screw back in exactly where it goes now without ANY modifications. Does anyone know what doors 79-86 share the same mounting holes as my 82? Thanks-

79 is out for the door handles, but I think you'll need 80-86. I'm not an expert though.

1980 doors have the locks in the 79 location too. 81-86 would be an exact fit. Any can be made to work fairly easily.

I had no idea they were different. Should be no surprise with Ford.

With the doors physically being the same outer dimensions to fit the same opening size (?) are there any other differences? I presumed the glass was all the same size no? Interesting.

Tony, do you have a slightly wider shot? It might help see things in context.

Well that was eye opening. Now I'm going to have to measure the door I bought for the Twister. It may have come off an '82.
