Making slow progress, still taking in all that needs to be done. Decided to just strip the whole interior. Gonna rebuild it a little more my taste...

Fuel cell mount was cracking. Gonna re-build this whole part

Pretty much just cut it all out along with the rest of the body that was left in.

Slow progress. Its been really cold here, even with a garage heater it zaps the heat out quick.
Time to design a bulkhead to separate the fuel components from the passenger area.

Thanks. A road race car, or drag? Coupe would be nice, they are stiffer chassis and there is already an easy separation for the fuel system in the trunk.

I did start the bulkhead, I think I got a good design. Ill post up pics soon. No progress this weekend on the Orange one, Ill be running the Blue on at our free track day (customer appreciation day)... Just had to dig the trailer out of the snow

For sure! I usually just run the 2 in car cameras (forward and rear facing) but I would like to play with the suction cup outside view.

I have made progress on this build... slowly (such is life) Ill post up some pics. Suspension is all built, just fitting some final parts and checking clearances. Then it will be ready for paint on the under body and engine bay.

I kind of got into some oval track racing, have been busy with that along with still running the Blue car at the track.

Humm, I assume others can see the pics? The photo loader on this site never seems to post my pics in the correct orientation. I used photobucket, which I also dont like...

Well... sorry to say, I went another direction with the rear suspension. Mumford link is still in a box in my basement. To my knowledge its purpose was to lower the roll center of the rear axle below ground level. Designed to work with cars that the front roll center was low because of poor LCA angles. I ended up fixing the front susp geometry instead of compensating with the rear.

    Sorry, used Photobucket again...

Awesome... what are you guys using to post pics?

I just deleted my PB account. Pretty sad, it use to be a great site. The creator of PhotoBucket is a nice guy, I have worked on his Miata and pitted for him on endurance races. He actually stops by our shop and I work on his personal stuff. He sold it long ago.

    It's all good!

I just have to tease you since I am getting nothing done on any of my cars right now. Lack of time, lack of funds, and just too much heat don't help!
