Crimson Cat hiding as a RS

I spent 10+ minutes looking at mine trying to figure it out, so I wrote a blog post once I did!

As stated above the hook end goes into the cylinder on the end with the spring and is held in place by the spring and the hook. The smooth end goes into the latch assembly.

The clip that holds the lock cylinder in place is the same as the door clip, flat hatch clip, and trunk lid clip so if you have any extras or have access to any of those clips they will work.

If not, PM me as I am sure I have a spare or two if all else fails.

I did figure out how it goes in but the piece is to long, so I'm going to have to cut it to size.

Finally have a stereo system after waiting since March to get one, had a friend help me do some wiring throughout the whole car. Ran new speaker wires to the rear and front as well as all the amp and sub wiring.


As well as my interior is 80% back together- Carpet, seats fully bolted back in, all the interior trim, as well as spare tire with a sub on top and 6X9s

Well I finally got a new dash cover for my car, and sticking with the brown and black theme looks to be the way my car is going.

Decided my cars needed a photo shoot today, because I didn't have any good recent photos.

So it's been awhile since I posted but a lot has happened. First off I was T-boned by an uninsured driver and got a concussion, took a lot of convincing but they are not going to be totaling it.

After all that I was looking around on Facebook and found someone selling another Crimson Cat, and decided to use the insurance money to snag it up and fix my car later on my own.

Around the same time I found another one in the same group that was T-topped and really wanting a car with T-tops I picked that one up too. It just got here today and now I have 3 Crimson Cats.
