Default Pull and install harmonic balancer

This weekend I plan to fix a leaking timing cover. As such I will have to pull and re install the harmonic balancer.

Any suggestions for stopping the crank from turning while removing and re-installing the bolt that holds it on?

I bout a puller, im gonna borrow an installer from Auto Zone. But the actual removal and install of the balancer will cause the crank to turn I think

Use an impact wrench and it will come off without the need to prevent it from moving.
Or remove the transmission inspection plate and jam a large screwdriver in the flex plate gear.
Lots of FREE F/Z info on my site.

If it's a 5-speed just leave it in gear and the crank want turn.

to install the balancer easily boil it for 20 minutes and immediately slide it onto the lubed crank, then bring it in with the bolt
