    Default interchangeable parts

Ok Great news as I've found as 85 Mercury Capri 5.0 in a junk yard near me. The dash looks to be in very good shape and the price that was quoted to me works very well. So tomorrow I'm going to head north and scope it out. Question is the interior and most of the exterior "look" the same. Are the dash pads the same ? wiper cowl the same ? I'm just not sure so I figured I would ask here. thanks in advance and i'll take pictures because we all know " this thread is useless without pictures"

Yes. As GIXER7502006 has said, the dash pad and cowl grill will interchange. As a matter of fact almost all, if not all of the interior parts are identical. So if you need any interior parts you're good to go. Exterior wise that's not the case as the fenders, bumper covers, hatch, rear quarters and hood were different.

The steering wheel was absolutely beautiful, door panels beautiful. The front air dam look salvageable. all in all a pretty decent morning. If it weren't so cold I would have grab more stuff but after 15 or 20 minutes of poking around I had had enough.

Those side marker moldings look in good shape. I would grab those too. They just screw in. I'm sure someone here (GIXER7502006?) could use them. That steering wheel does look like it's in great shape. Shame about the dash pad.

North Billerica, Jack's used auto parts. If I had room at my place I would grab the whole car.

Damn I hope you grabbed the airdamn and side extensions? Unless they are trashed those things are worth saving. Door panels too if they are really nice.
