everytime I go to this event I say it's the last time.
This year was no exception.
it you're looking for chinese tools, old license plates, and T shirts, and rusty parts that most people throw away because they are 30 years past useful (but the seller think they're made from gold) . Then, I guess it's a decent show
As a motorcycle guy, having the bike expo in the building next door helps a little. But that show is even worse than the auto swap. T-shirts with wolves, leather dealers, a couple bike dealers and elbow to elbow people, mostly overweight middle aged men (like me) with a beer in their hand spilling on everything as they walk
I'm just north of New Haven, so it's a 3 hour round trip. $ 5 to park, $10 in the door (another $15 for the bike show) and you can see everything in less than 2 hours for both. The spring swap at the speedway has better turnout and stuff
