Default Texas plumbers truck ends up in Syria with ISIS

    What a crazy story.

    http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/story/27...Dx_wM.facebook

Guess when he traded it in, the dealership was supposed to remove the lettering on the trucks doors, but did not. The guy has been taking some real heat over it.

    That's weird.

I remember a buddy of mine traded in his 88 Mustang GT for a new 96 model. Drove the 96 for just a few hours and decided he didn't want it and went back. The dealership had already stripped his 88 of its custom sub and amp enclosures and were removing the MB Quartz speakers.

What's wrong with people that makes them automatically jump all over this guy before finding out what happened? And lets say that he actually sold it to the guy driving the truck in the picture. Do they think he actually asked the guy "what do you plan on using the truck for" and the buyer says "In 3 years I'm gonna strap a 50 caliber machine gun to the back of it to kill people in an act of terrorism..." then the seller says "great, I was worried you were just gonna use it to haul lumber...ill definately sell it to you now that I know it will help kill people and promote both terrorism and Mark-1 Plumbing....and all I have to do is wait 3 years for this free advertising...even better."

I bet he's still receiving these calls even after he explained that he sold the car 3 years ago (not to a terrorist cell) and had no idea what happened to it after that. Why do we have so many douchbags here in Merica...dirka dirka?
    Cheers!

I'm sure that they find it to be a much more stable platform than the Nissans and Toyotas we're used to seeing them in.

I wonder if any of those guys post on fordtrucks.com

What puzzles me here is how the heck did this truck get to where it shouldn't be?? Where and how did it leave this country and who is overseeing this type of activity??? a bit scary.........

I have to agree. The stupidity of people to think that this guy is that stupid to just donate his truck to terrorist. Nothing amazes me anymore in this country. These loons actually saw the story and took the time to look up the company and then actually call and harass the people.

Exporting used trucks and SUVs to the middle east is a huge business. I use to be in the business of financing used car lots inventory and had to track down vehicles at ports all the time. Didn't matter the miles, the Middle East couldn't get enough of our large vehicles. All legit though, nothing done wrong except exporter screwed this poor small business owner! I'm sure these ISIS guys love having the American Co name on their "death machine!"

Whenever I trade in one of our company vehicles or sell a trailer or anything I make absolutely sure to get all our company info including the DOT stickers off the truck before it is out of our hands. I even go so far as to scrape the registration stickers off the windshield. I want absolutely no possibility of the actions of some subsequent owner coming back on me.

I learned the hard way once when I sold a vehicle and left the registration info on the windshield and the guy that bought it left it in the street to rack up parking tickets that all got sent to me since that was the only info on the vehicle. Boy was that a mess to get sorted out.

That could just as easily been one of my trucks out there with me getting all the hate directed at me.
