    Default Build Sheets Located

Struck gold! As I started removing the interior, I found the build sheet under driver's seat carpet. Unfortunately, it stuck to the floor pan and disintegrated during removal... Bummer!

But have no fear, when removing the passenger side rear panel, I not only found another copy of my build sheet but a copy of another car's taped behind it! See pics below...

FoxChassis, I've attached a PDF of the build sheet, can you decode it for me? In particular, can you help me understand the correct spring codes? My original door tag is illegible and Marti had to guess on those.

Also, would you like me to upload a PDF of the other build sheet?

Yes, I would like to see the other build sheet.

The door tag springs codes for EF141204 were KKHH. Build sheet decoding is forthcoming...

That's awesome! (The build sheet for the other car.) Look at how far apart their C.U.N.s are!

It would be cool to do a carfax on the other car, to see if it's still out there.

Ask and you shall receive, I did an AutoCheck on the car and posted it with build sheet on a new thread:

It would be awesome if someone could find this car. Last registered in Missouri 17 years ago.

Great read ... with my body getting back to a new "normal", and our family's commitment to finishing Cameron's three coupes, the Tu-Tone threads are certainly motivating.

I wish to thank you dedicated contributors for the positive affect you are having on me to now pull some interior in search of much needed data about Cam's '84 5C/1E Coupe. It has been a long year dealing with my health related issue and certainly a journey getting into my son's cars. Maybe one day, I will have the privilege of meeting our Tu-Toner group to cop a nice manly hand shake and a cool beverage.

Chris, the Marti report, where do I find pricing?

Follow that link, fill in the vehicle information, and click on the red arrow to the right. The next page will bring up the report available for your vehicle, and the current prices for each. The "Upgrade" option is is you have already purchased a report and do not want to pay the full price for an upgraded report.

Wow Greg, that's very kind of you to say. My goal is to help others learn and hopefully get excited about these cars. IMO, fox body Mustangs played a huge part in the horsepower renaissance and deserve to be documented. Plus, if demand grows enough, we'll see more high quality resto parts being produced and the cost to restore will become more affordable.

I promise Greg, once the restoration is complete, I'll be down your way for that cold beverage (or few) and a firm hand shake!
