    Default Newly acquired Pace Car

Bought PC #0224 back in August from the original owners. Car sat in their garage for 35 years, hence, it has just 253 miles. I need to put it in the registry.

Wow, nice acquisition! Who buys a car and stores it like that? Odd, you'd think putting the money in the bank would be a better investment over 35 years! Congrats to you though!

Those cars were pushed as being future collectibles so a lot of people bought them and put them away (not as many as the 78 Corvette Pace Car...every one of those you see at auction has crazy low miles). I'm not sure about how many of those are still being stored today though...my guess is not many.

It's amazing that you were able to find one with under 300 miles. I bet it's beautiful. The only way to confirm that would be for you to post up some pics. I want to see those mint Recaro's. Congrats!
    Cheers!

Congratulations on your purchase. No, I'm not jealous. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not. Well, okay, maybe just a little. Pictures, please.
