    Default Hydraulic clutch questions

    I finally found an 87 turbo coupe parts car that has the whole power train still in the car. The car is rusted and to far gone to fix. I am hoping to salvage the 2.3t out of the car and have all the bits and pieces with the parts car to transform my 86 4 banger coupe into a turbo car. My question is about the transmission. I learned that the trans in the SC has a hydraulic clutch set up. My 86 is a 4 speed and I'm wondering if the SC t5 can be converted to manual clutch? I did do a search but did not find any threads talking about this subject. Thanks

    You start of your thread talking about a turbo coupe and finish it talking about a super coupe. Are we talking about using parts from 2 different cars?

    If common sense was common wouldn't it just be sense?

    You mean TC.

    TC = TurboCoupe (turbocharged 2.3L I4 engine, 1983-88)
    SC = SuperCoupe (supercharged 3.8L V6 engine, 1989-95)

    Yes, you can just use a Mustang cable for the clutch.
