Sounds good, give me what I've put into it plus a little something for my time. I'll give you a few days to get the second mortgage approved.

OH NO! I have a pretty good idea what kind of $$ you have invested in this project!

I want the typical used race car deal of worth 1/2 what you have invested!

Ok, enough harassing for now. The coupe is looking good!

Well after a few years of thrashing the 1/2 price deal might be acceptable, but for now its showroom pricing. This building a car one part at a time does add up.

Glad to hear others like what I'm doing with it. Thanks everyone for the approval.

Question about the Spectre (??) Air cleaner. Can the inlet hoses be cut down? I've tried to mod a dual snorkel into what I want and need, but I keep looking at the Spectre, because it already pretty much is. Except the inlets seem a mile long. I was wondering if they could be cut down so they are 'looped' as much.

The flexible inlet tubes can be cut down for sure. I actually only used one piece to make both inlets. The only reason mine bend the way they do is to get around the strut brace an out to the inner fender tubes.

That's good to know. I bought an 85 because of that air cleaner, but the metal snorkels and their shape really limit what I want to do. I will probably by the Spectre then make a replica of the 85 air cleaner decal. That will probably be close enough for me!

Getting close. Doors and fenders and front upper bumper cover are on. Most of the glass (polycarbonate) went in today, just the door glass to be done now. Lots of trim on also.

And of course, she's really a four eye now.

Mufflers are Flowmaster Super 40s, 2 1/2" in and out. I have a nice pair of stainless tips to go on them to dress up the looks, the current ones were temporary as I had trouble finding what I wanted.

The front air dam and rear valance still need to be installed. They were left off to make it easier to tie down in the trailer and to allow better clearance on the ramp.

I worked on a few small tasks today, but will be after Christmas before I really get to work on the interior.

OK, I teased you with the last picture, here it is in full splendor. Got the airdam and rear Saleen skirt on yesterday, managed to sneak it out of the shop this morning before the snow started.

I tried not to comment because I believe everyone has said it, but that is truly an amazing Mustang! Great work! The only thing I see left doing, is building another one that's not so nice so you can race it. Looks too nice to drive now. Good luck with it, enjoy!

Back into routines now after vacation and all that over Christmas, so back to work on the car too. I've been working on the interior mainly. I finished off the dynamat on the floor and got the vinyl mat in. It is really thick and stiff and is not co-operating very well, but I'm slowly winning. Still lots of wrinkles and such to flatten out. Might need a good hot soak in the sun to soften up the mat to get that to happen. I did work a few areas with a heat gun and then weighted it down with sand bags to get it to shape.

The next part is getting the aluminum work done. I've been working on finishing the rear seat delete the past couple of days. It is mostly built, no I just need to do some bead rolling in places and then fasten it all in.

I still want to do some more trim around the side windows too, then the doors will be the next job.
