Default FOUND: BRAND NEW (NOS) ROH Snyper 4-Lug Wheels!

It's a miracle. I managed to find possibly the last set of new 4-lug ROH Snyper wheels! They are staggered 17x8 and 17x9's. They just arrived today and will be getting installed in the next week once my new tires arrive. I'll post pics once they are installed.

These will be replacing the new 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels that I just purchased from LMR.

PS, has anyone ever seen these with this silver powdercoated finish? I'm used to seeing only the machine finish version.

    I'M STOKED!!!!

Cool! Where did you stumble upon them?

I've never seen silver, either, just the machined style. I've actually never been a fan of them because of the machined finish; I like the silver much better.

Group A Wheels in NY. They had a few sets of the 5-lug pattern for newer Mustangs on eBay. I figured it was worth a shot to just call them and ask. They said it was their last set. I'm surprised no one called them sooner since they are a very large distributor here in the states.

PS, I see you are in the Navy? I'm a retired HMC. How about you?

The ROH boxes looked like had been sitting in a warehouse for a long time. There is a stamp on the inside of the wheels that say's "Australia" or "Made in Australia"...I don't have them in front of me at the moment....but that was the first thing I looked for.

Real or not they are amazing wheels. Those are one of the most popular non-factory wheel options for our cars...right under ARE and Enkie Mesh. Great purchase, congrats on the find!
    Cheers!

I did a little research on the subject of authenticity. I found an article that explained the ROH's should have 4 stamps on the back side. 1) Maker's brand (assuming it will say ROH). 2) Date stamp. 3) AS1638 Compliance Stamp. 4) Load Rating.

I'm anxious to get home and verify these 4 stamps exist but I believe I remember seeing them all.

All of the stamp markings are there, just as described. I'm guessing these were custom ordered that way from the factory and never picked up or possibly returned. Either way, I'm stoked to have them.

I FINALLY got my new BFG's mounted. I went through Discount Tire and the rear tires had to be special ordered from another location so it took about a week to get those in. I went against the grain here and decided to go with 225's in the front and 255's in the rear. Ended up having to remove the quad shocks completely. I hope there are no ill-effects from that. Anyway, the wheels look great and "tuck factor" is definitely correct. Now I just need to drop it with a set of springs!
