Thanks for posting. I was hoping someone had some pics of this event. I'm surprised at the lack of Saleen's but a lot of great foxes. I wish we had an event like that over here on the west coast. That LTD Police car and SSP Mustang were a couple of standouts, but the 2 Saleens take the cake for me.

    Thanks again for posting!
    Cheers!

That SSP Mustang was in service in the town over from mine up until just a couple of years ago. I thought they still had it, but it has a Virginia tag on it now. I'm not sure it's a true SSP though as it had pony wheels from the first time I ever saw it. It was all white until a handful of years ago and when Landis changed their paint schemes, they updated that Mustang too.

maybe it's becoming a all fox event, not just fox mustangs, nothing wrong with that.

Odd that it had pony wheels on it. The Marti report shows it came that way though. I remember it in its white livery quite well.

Thanks for sharing these pics Chris, I might snag a few! It is hard for us to actually see the show, but Matt thought that LTD with the rubbed fender was super cool! Can't wait to see Gina's car next year… Jenn

Wow, I remember the Landis Mustang too! I've lived in this area for 26 years now and remember when they got that car. Thought it was funny when these small towns purchased Mustangs. It was the last one, I believe, in service around here. Like Travis, I thought they were still using it. I heard the officer that was last using it had already made a deal to purchase it when it was decommissioned.
I also remember when the DMV/NCHP barracks in China Grove would get the SSP Mustangs in as they were being decommissioned and their parking lot would be full of them. What a sight!

Fearnot, I live probably 3-4 miles from that NCHP garage. I too remember seeing that lot full of the last few that were retired, it was so cool seeing that many together.
