    Default Blue Saleen at Foxtoberfest

It had #42 on the bumper, but silly me didn't look at it better to see if it was an 85 or an 86. Now I see #42 was blue in both those years! Black 85 Saleen #63 was there but I didn't get a picture of it.

1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

If its all original I would say its an 86, because of the "302" on the hood. That air dam is typically an 85 piece, but some 86's also got it. Either way that's one amazing Saleen, but I like Airplanedrivers blue with gold wheels and blue stripes 85 Saleen better. There is just something about his car and the blue with blue graphics that I love (I think it's the best looking Saleen ever made...if I'm honest). I wonder how awesome that LRB 85 Saleen would look if it had blue graphics instead of grey? Now that would be one killer car.

Anyway, I went on a pretty big tangent there...sorry. Thanks for posting, this is a rare Saleen.
    Cheers!

    Great looking Saleen!

I would guess it's an 85 based upon the front air dam, but I am not the expert, so it's hard to tell for sure. If it had the 3rd brake light then it's definitely an 86. Either way a cool looking Mustang and I would love to own it or one like it!

it has carb and a blower on it, it's a 85, the owner usually won't open the hood but we talked him into it at the first Foxtoberfest.

Absolutely beautiful. Though, I am a little partial. I like the silver stripes with natural wheels, although both blue cars are stunning in their own right. Very intrigued about the blower set-up. I would like to know if it is a Paxton, like on the other supercharged '85, or if it is something else.

I'm thinking paxton, and pretty sure the owner said it wasn't installed by saleen, but it's been 3 years since I saw it so don't hold me to it.

Only reason I took a picture of it was I was thinking that blue may be a good alternative to repainting my 84 GT black haha.
