      Were power rear windows a separate option on the early 'verts? I've never seen (or at least never noticed) a Fox rag top with power front windows and manual rears.

      The dealer could have added those power windows when first bought? When I bought my 81 at the dealer they offered me a bunch of power stuff add on's but I only had them install AC.

      I think all early convertibles (83-84) had roll up rear windows regardless of if the car had power windows or not. Kind of weird if you ask me.
      1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

      Maybe that didn't change till Ford started to build them....?

      Oh and I've never seen a power window front early vert with power rear windows. Kinda cool if u ask me. Power window motor installation on a rear window is the pitts lol.

      Ford took it in house at some point, just not sure when.
