1985 ASC coupe

Time to make room, gonna start on my 69 cougar xr7 cj ram air car, so the mclaren is on the market, I'm the second owner, 50k, all original with all ASC stuff still on car except headlight covers, no rust, very clean interior, no mods, always garaged, car had new clear coat put on about 20 years ago, it runs drives and stops as it should, getting hard to find Thanks. The side ground effects look to be from a 1987-93 Mustang GT.

Those would have said mustang on the skirts but were filled in or the original skirts were joined to the gt end flares either way those are incorrect. But that is not a big deal. Car looks good still and the s. Wheel might be questionable ? Other than that its hard to tell with the pics supplied as to what is orig and what is not.

in the pics there is a car with stripes on frt skirts and a car without stripes ? which is the newer version ? the stripes on the frt skirt look correct and the others are incorrect in they are 1 solid stripe vs. large and small stripes ?

Good eye, the car came with a roll of striping, one larger stripe and a thin one, I put it on the air dam, s wheel says mclaren on it, side skirts were on this car in 85, I knew the owner and remember him buying it and asking why, those colors just don't jive, must have grew on me.

it looks like I will be keeping my car as there are no takers at low prices.

I just cant see giving the car away for how rare it is. I have been driving my car lately and it really gets a lot of chatter and that is cool.

if we can just hang on another 100 years these cars will bring some money.
