Will do! Have to get some fatties for the back for having some real fun. The TRX tires just don't hook up it and are way too expensive to burn up.

What is the color code for the gold? Looks like it belongs there.

Personally, I think it would look good on a Black Magic as well.

Those gold tails have to be put on, that looks awesome. The whole car is amazing, probably the best CC in existence. I get wanting all original, but those good tails just look too sweet to ignore.

conmech, got the color from this forum although can't remember which thread it was posted in. I'd love to thank then because the color was bang on. It is actually a GM color, here it is:

    1997 AZTEC GOLD MET
    CODE: 9218
    Metalic/iridescent content > 5grams/liter
    VOC-LE:5.6 VOC-AP: 4.9

Yes, I was torn. Having a spare set painted gold just in case I get the urge.

Now you just need a spare set of the TRX wheels with the gold inlays to make it perfect!

Hey Trey, not sure I could afford another set of TRX tires. Most expensive tires I ever bought. I have a set of Mustang GT turbine wheels that came with the car. I may get the inlays on them painted gold and get a set of grippier tires for having some fun. They are 15" and much cheaper to get tires for. Then the TRX wheels can be saved for show.

There has been some people that asked about the color of the gold trim paint for like the front grill and things
The closest I came to was a GM color
    1997 AZTEC GOLD MET
    CODE: 9218
    Metalic/iridescent content > 5grams/liter
    VOC-LE:5.6 VOC-AP: 4.9
    C9047K M

This is the info on the can.
I think it was for like rims because it was a very durable paint
Did not flake, fade, change color,or get pitted easyly
I could not tell the difference when I pulled next to another CC

    TLennyRS
Hey TLennyRS, ithanks for the gold paint code. It was bang on. Since the old gold was so faded it was great to have something to start with. As it ended up that's what I finished with too.

I completely understand and don't blame you! I was just being more of a smarta$$ than anything. Although I do like the gold on the wheels myself.

Had the GT turbines refinished as driving wheels. Went with the gold inset look as suggested by some. Thought it best to have some rubber for having fun. TRXs a little too expensive to burn up.
